Overview

This full-day private tour lasts about eight hours and includes hotel pickup and drop-off in Lisbon. The tour offers a journey through the area known as Sintra, often described as a wonderland for its unique combination of natural and architectural sites. If the Skip-The-Line option is chosen, entrance tickets for Pena Palace are included, allowing direct access without waiting in ticket lines. The tour begins with visits to the chosen Sintra sites, each with allocated time for exploration. Monserrate Park and Palace, also visited for about one and a half hours, include exotic trees, shrubs, and a small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Montserrat. Pena Palace, a 19th-century Romantic palace situated on a mountaintop with views extending to the ocean, is visited for about one and a half hours. The Sintra National Palace, located in the village center and known for its conical chimneys and mixed architectural styles, is visited for about one hour. The Moorish Castle offers historical and architectural insights amid scenic landscapes, with about one hour allocated for exploration. Visitors have one hour of free time in Sintra's historic center to rest, have lunch, or try local pastries. After Sintra, the tour continues to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, for about 15 minutes to view the coastline. The tour concludes with a 15-minute visit to Cascais, a coastal town known for its historic villas and sheltered sandy bay. The tour is led by a driver/guide and includes free Wi-Fi.
