Overview

This small-group tour lasts about two hours and is limited to a maximum of 10 guests to allow a more focused visit. The guide, who speaks English, leads the group through the Alcazar of Seville with pre-purchased tickets to skip the main line, though a brief wait at entry is still possible. The tour begins at Seville's main monumental area before entering the Alcazar. Inside, the guide explains the Justice Hall and the Palace of Plaster. The group then visits the House of Trade and the Admiral's Room, learning about Seville's role in the discovery and conquest of the Americas. Next is the Mudejar Palace, originally built by Peter I in the 1300s, reflecting a blend of Moorish and Christian architectural elements. The Gothic Palace, the Alcazar's first Christian building, is the following stop. The visit concludes in the gardens at the Maria Padilla Baths, after which guests can spend additional time exploring the gardens independently. Note that weather conditions such as strong wind or rain may lead to garden closures by the Alcazar management for safety reasons. Visitors must bring the original ID or passport provided during booking, as photocopies or photos are not accepted for entry.
