Overview

This small-group cooking class in Venice lasts about three hours and takes place in a local’s home. You will learn how to roll sfoglia, which is fresh pasta dough, by hand. The class teaches you how to make two traditional types of pasta from scratch, guided by an experienced Cesarina host. After preparing the pasta, you will also learn how to make tiramisu, a classic Italian dessert. The session includes an Italian aperitivo with prosecco and small snacks to start. The group size is limited to a maximum of 12 participants, allowing for hands-on instruction and interaction with other guests. The Cesarine are a network of home cooks who open their homes to visitors for cooking experiences across Italy. Participants join a shared hands-on cooking session in a carefully chosen local residence in Venice. Expert home cooks, known as Cesarine, instruct guests in preparing traditional Pasta and tiramisù recipes. The hosts treat attendees as family while sharing their culinary techniques for an authentic experience.
