Overview

This full-day coach tour lasts about 11 hours and includes visits to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and the city of Bath. The tour departs from Victoria Coach Station in London and travels by superior coach equipped with Wi-Fi and USB charging. An expert guide provides commentary throughout the journey, with personal audio headsets to hear clearly. The tour begins with a visit to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle worldwide, which has been a royal residence for nearly 1,000 years. Visitors can explore the State Apartments, featuring artworks from the Royal Collection, and St George's Chapel, a Gothic-style chapel and the Order of the Garter's chapel. Access to the castle and chapel depends on the day and ticket option selected. When the castle is closed, guests spend free time in Windsor town and view the castle exterior. Next, the coach travels to Bath, where visitors can see the Georgian architecture including Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey. Admission to the Roman Baths is optional and, if included, allows a one-hour visit to the ancient thermal spa complex with naturally flowing hot water. The final stop is Stonehenge, where guests spend about an hour learning about the prehistoric monument’s construction and its links to the solstices. The visit includes access to the exhibition center with ancient artifacts and a display featuring a 5,500-year-old human remains. This tour includes entrance to Stonehenge and, if selected, Windsor Castle and the Roman Baths. Food, drinks, gratuities, and hotel transfers are not included.

The Roman Baths

The Roman Baths are located in Bath’s World Heritage Site and contain well-preserved remains of an ancient religious spa. Natural thermal springs still flow on site. Visitors with included tickets can spend about an hour exploring the baths and exhibition.
