Overview

Taiping Lake is the largest artificial lake in Anhui Province, with a water area of 88.6 square kilometers. It is known as "Lovers of Huangshan" and "Oriental Lake Geneva," and was a filming location for the 1987 version of "Dream of the Red Chamber." The lake water is clear and translucent, with islands scattered like pearls, combining the tranquility and vitality of a landscape painting.

Taiping Lake is a water-based scenic area that requires a boat tour. Tour route: Central Lake Area (Tianxia Taiping City, Monkey Island, Longyao Village), tour time by large boat is about 2 hours. Ferry schedule: 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM. At other times, departures are made as soon as the boat is full, depending on passenger numbers. During peak hours, queuing is required. Please plan your travel time accordingly.
