Overview

The Escape Game NYC offers seven different themed escape rooms located on Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, close to Times Square and the Empire State Building. Each game lasts about 75 minutes, including preparation and debrief time. Most games accommodate up to 8 players, while the Playground theme can hold up to 12. All games feature multiple rooms and are designed to be family-friendly. Players work together to solve puzzles and follow clues to complete their mission within the locked rooms, which include an exit button for safety. The venue is situated in the Lefcourt Colonial Building and offers a nearby outdoor space at Bryant Park for after-game relaxation if the weather permits. The games provide a different style of escape room experience that is exciting and adventure-driven without dark or scary elements. Participants should plan for about 15 minutes of briefing before the game and 15 minutes afterward for debriefing and photos. Unless a full booking is made, games may be shared with other participants. The operator provides fast customer support and admission includes entry to play one adventure. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included.

Here’s how it works: You and your team will work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and ultimately complete a mission. Escaping will require teamwork, communication, wits, a sense of adventure, and most importantly: YOU! Once you arrive, a dedicated game guide will take you on to your adventure and help you as needed. You will have exactly 60-minutes to complete the mission in your adventure and escape. Choose to play one of seven uniquely immersive games: - Only Murders in the Building: Help Oliver, Charles, and Mabel find the missing film reel! - Gold Rush: Find hidden gold in the California hills! - Prison Break: Complete a daring escape from the evil warden! - Special Ops: Mysterious Market: Uncover the truth as a secret agent! - Playground: Complete your report card and get to summer break! -The Depths: Explore the deep sea laboratory! -Timeliner: Train Through Time: Save the future!
