Overview

The National WWII Museum campus in downtown New Orleans covers six acres and includes five large pavilions with historical exhibits, ongoing restoration projects, a period dinner theater, and restaurants. The Campus Pass provides all-day general admission to the entire museum campus. Visitors may enter the museum at any time during opening hours, which are daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ticket also includes timed entry to the 4-D film "Beyond All Boundaries," shown exclusively in the Solomon Victory Theater on the museum campus. This film, produced and narrated by Tom Hanks, presents World War II battles using archival footage combined with special effects such as moving seats, lighting, sound, fog, and changing scenery. The film lasts approximately 45 minutes. Some effects, including loud noises, flashing lights, fog, and seat movement, may affect certain guests. Stationary seating and assisted listening devices are available upon request at the theater's Visitor Services desk. The film is not closed captioned.
