This four-hour tour in Tromso begins with private transportation from the city to the husky kennel, where guests meet about 130 Alaskan Huskies. After a safety briefing and training on how to control the sled, participants work in pairs to drive their own sleds pulled by teams of 5 to 6 huskies. An experienced guide leads the group of up to 20 guests along the trail through the Arctic wilderness. The dog sledding portion lasts between 70 and 80 minutes, during which drivers can alternate between steering and riding as passengers. After the sledding, the group gathers inside a traditional Lavvu tent to enjoy cake and a warm drink such as tea or coffee. All necessary warm clothing, including Arctic thermal suits and snow boots, is provided. Children aged 7 and older may participate but must share a sled with a parent. A basic level of fitness is required. Guests are advised to bring their own cameras to capture the experience.
