This Northern Lights Chase in Tromso with Photo Package Included lasts six to seven hours. The tour departs from inside the Prostneset building near the bus terminal in Tromso. A professional driver and an English-speaking guide lead the group by bus or minibus, depending on the number of participants. The guide monitors weather and aurora forecasts to select the best locations for viewing the northern lights during the night. Stops are made at various sites where the guide assists participants with camera settings and photographic techniques to help capture the aurora. The guide also takes photos of the group during the tour, which are included in the package and later uploaded to a third-party website unless participants request otherwise. Reflective safety vests, hot tea, coffee, and snacks are provided on board. Tripods and thermal suits are not included but can be rented separately from the operator’s office at Storgata 77 in Tromso.
