This day trip in Tromso lasts about four to five hours and includes reindeer sledding and an introduction to Sami culture. Participants are picked up by shared round-trip transfer from Tromso and taken to the sledding area in the surrounding North Norwegian nature. Upon arrival, guests meet Sami people and reindeer. The sledding lasts around 30 minutes, with two participants sharing each sled arranged in a line behind a lead reindeer. The duration of sledding may be adjusted depending on snow and weather conditions. During the visit, participants also get to feed the reindeer under guidance. A Sami guide presents traditional stories, singing, and displays Sami artifacts. Typical Sami food, beverages, and lunch are provided, with a vegan option available. All reindeer used are trained for the activity, but participants must follow safety instructions as reindeer behavior can be unpredictable.
