Overview

This 90-minute tour on the Big Island of Hawaii takes place on Hamakua ranch land using either Honda 4x4 ATVs or Side x Side UTVs. Vehicles are fully automatic with power steering, designed for safety and ease of use, suitable for all skill levels. The tour begins with a practice track where guides provide instruction on operating the vehicles. After the practice, participants ride along miles of trails at about 1,000 feet elevation, offering views of Mauna Kea above and the Pacific Ocean below. The terrain can include muddy sections after rain for more challenging riding. The tour includes stops for photos and a swim in a private pond located beneath Umauma Falls, allowing time to enjoy the waterfall and surrounding area. Goggles, helmets, and snacks are provided. Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license and parental permission if under 18. Passengers aged 4 to 11 must ride with a parent or guardian in the Side x Side vehicle. Closed-toe shoes and full clothing are required. Weight limits apply: minimum 35 pounds, maximum 350 pounds for drivers, and maximum 250 pounds for back seat passengers.

Choose from our Honda 4x4 ATV's or Side x Side UTV's and tear it up through Hamakua ranch land. Fully automatic with power steering, our ATV's are incredibly safe and easy to ride with plenty of power and torque. Explore miles of trails with gorgeous 1,000 ft. elevation views of Mauna Kea above and the Pacific Ocean below. All levels of experience are welcome. Tour includes practice track with instruction from guides, plus scenic stops for photos. Includes 20 minute stop for snacks and a dip in Umauma's private pond.
