This half-day boat tour lasts about 4.5 hours and covers three islands in the Venice Lagoon: Murano, Burano, and Torcello. The tour departs daily from San Marco Giardinetti or Venezia Santa Lucia Railway Station, with the Santa Lucia departure 30 minutes before San Marco. Travel by shared motorboat through the Venetian Lagoon and enjoy views of Venice from the water. The first stop is Murano, where visitors spend around 50 minutes. Here, the tour includes entry to a glass-blowing factory to watch artisans craft glass using traditional techniques. After the factory visit, there is time to explore the island’s center. Next, the boat reaches Burano, also for about 50 minutes. This island is known for its brightly painted fishermen’s houses and handmade lace production, both visible during the visit. The final stop is Torcello, also about 50 minutes long. Torcello was the earliest inhabited island in the lagoon and retains traces of its past. Visitors can see the church of Santa Fosca in the main square, which features Venetian-Byzantine architecture. In the middle of the island stands Attila’s throne, an ancient stone seat. The tour also crosses the Devil’s Bridge, which preserves the shape of traditional Venetian bridges. The boat returns to St. Mark’s Square, offering a unique view of this famous Venice landmark from the water.
