Overview

This private tour lasts about three hours and begins with a watertaxi transfer from Venice to Murano Island. Upon arrival, visitors watch an artisanal glassblowing demonstration where skilled craftsmen shape molten glass using traditional techniques. After the demonstration, the guide leads a walking tour of Murano’s central square and notable palaces, sharing information about the island’s glassmaking history and local stories. There is an optional visit to the Church of San Donato, a notable example of Venetian architecture and a symbol of the island, available Monday to Saturday from morning to evening and Sunday in the afternoon and evening. During the boat ride to and from Murano, the tour passes by San Michele Island, known as the Venice Cemetery.
