by Eagle Wing Whale Wildlife Watching Tours
This wildlife cruise departs from Victoria’s Fisherman’s Wharf and lasts about three and a half hours. Passengers board a semi-covered or open boat operated by Eagle Wing Tours, which supports ocean conservation, education, and research in the Salish Sea. Certified naturalists provide live commentary throughout the trip, explaining the local marine environment and animal species. During the cruise, guests can see seals, sea lions, otters, porpoises, bald eagles, and various marine birds. Whale sightings are guaranteed; if no whales are seen, a free return cruise is offered. Hotel pickup is included. The tour price covers a wildlife fee, Goods and Services Tax (GST), fuel surcharge, and guidance from local experts. Food, drinks, and gratuities are not included. The semi-covered vessels are wheelchair accessible, and washrooms are available on board. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers should inform the operator of any health issues, medical conditions, or pregnancy at the time of booking. Expectant mothers and those with pre-existing conditions are advised to travel on the larger semi-covered vessels.
