The tour starts with a pickup at a designated location in Tromsø. Participants travel by vehicle to a location chosen based on weather conditions for watching the Aurora Borealis as it dances in the night sky. During the approximately six-hour tour, guests have access to a heated barbeque cabin where they can warm up. Warm and cold drinks, snacks, and sausages cooked over the fire are provided. Bread with traditional Norwegian toppings is also available. Warm pants and jackets are offered if needed. After the viewing and time in the cabin, the group returns to accommodations within Tromsø city center limits. Photographs taken during the tour are shared digitally with participants, usually the same night or within two days.
