The Wieliczka Salt Mine has played an important role in mining history and has attracted many notable visitors, including Nicolaus Copernicus and Pope John Paul II. This guided bus tour from Krakow includes pick-up from selected city center hotels and transportation by air-conditioned minibus or coach, lasting about five and a half hours in total. The visit involves a descent of 380 steps to the first underground level, located about 110 feet (64 meters) below the surface. The tour covers approximately twenty historic chambers connected by around 2 kilometers (1.25 miles) of tunnels, including an "underground town" with lakes, passages, and the Saint Kinga Chapel. Visitors spend about two hours inside the mine. Return to the surface is by lift from the third level, at a depth of 443 feet (135 meters). Photography inside Saint Kinga Chapel requires a separate permit, which can be purchased at the entrance. There is no lunch break included. After the visit, the minibus returns guests to their original pick-up points in Krakow.

The tour includes an underground complex with lakes, passages, and the Saint Kinga Chapel. The entire tour lasts about 4-5 hours, with around 2 hours spent inside the mine. Photography in the chapel requires purchasing permission at its entrance. There is no lunch break during the tour. After returning to Krakow, guests are dropped off at their original pick-up points.
