Overview

The wine tasting takes place in a store located opposite Ponte Vecchio in the center of Florence, Italy, and lasts one hour. Participants taste two Tuscan wines served in 100 ml single-serve bottles designed to preserve the wines' aromas and flavors. The selection includes well-known Tuscan wines such as Chianti and Vermentino, chosen from wineries selected by a winemaker to represent the best of Tuscany. The session begins with a short guided introduction explaining how to use sight, smell, and taste to identify the main characteristics of each wine. After this introduction, participants continue tasting independently, comparing aromas, colors, and flavors with others at their table. Bottled water and snacks are provided during the tasting. A wine-tasting manual and a flavor kit are included to support understanding. The tasting takes place in a casual setting that encourages social interaction among guests. Participants must be at least 16 years old to take part.
