This four-day, three-night wildlife tour from Jackson Hole focuses on the diverse animal species and landscapes of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Over about 96 hours, the group travels by coach with a naturalist guide who provides insights into the parks' wildlife. Participants may see grizzly and black bears, wolves, elk, moose, bison, and bald eagles during the journey. The tour covers wide western landscapes including Hayden and Lamar Valleys. Visitors walk along boardwalks to view geothermal features such as Old Faithful Geyser, Fountain Paint-Pots, Mud-Pots, West Thumb, and Mammoth Hot Springs. Other stops include Oxbow Bend, Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful Inn, and Mormon Row. The itinerary offers many opportunities for easy walking and photography. Included are three nights of lodging, daily breakfast, snacks, water, and soda throughout the tour, plus hotel pickup and drop-off in Jackson, Wyoming. Binoculars are provided for each guest, and a shared scope is available to the group. Entrance fees to the national parks are included for US residents. The small group is limited to 10 people to keep the experience personal. Additional food and drinks beyond those provided and guide gratuities are not included. The tour involves some walking, with more possible upon request, and children aged 5 and under are not permitted unless a private tour is arranged.
