Experience Kyushu's most unique train, the Yufuin no Mori, and enjoy the most scenic journey during the best lighting conditions It feels amazing!!! Departing from Fukuoka, this one-day trip connects three of Kyushu's most popular destinations: Yufuin, Umi Jigoku, and Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. You'll also ride the popular sightseeing train Yufuin no Mori, unlocking a hot spring town, geothermal wonders, and the shrine of the god of learning all at once. In the morning, when there are fewer tourists, stroll through Yufuin, soak in the relaxed atmosphere of the hot spring town, and visit the anime town that resembles Miyazaki's works. At noon, take the retro forest-themed Yufuin no Mori sightseeing train to Oita, enjoying picturesque mountain and rural scenery along the way. In the afternoon, explore Beppu's iconic blue geothermal hot spring, "Umi Jigoku." In the evening, walk along the Dazaifu Sando, ending your day amidst century-old shops and the aroma of Umegae Mochi. The itinerary has a comfortable pace and carefully selected attractions, making it suitable for first-time visitors to Fukuoka who want to efficiently experience Kyushu's classics. ⚠️ Travel Notice August 8th to August 16th is the Obon Festival holiday travel peak in Japan, which may lead to traffic congestion, large crowds, attractions closing early, or itinerary adjustments. Please do not book dinner, flights, or Shinkansen for the same day, and it is recommended to bring a power bank. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
