Tirana National Historical Museum (Muzeu Historik Kombëtar)

The National History Museum, of Albania , inaugurated in October 1981, is closed for renovations until March 2028.

From July 1, 2016, admission is free to all museums and facilities for both local and foreign visitors. As of March 1, 2022 walk-in visitors are accepted while advance booking through https://reservation. nationalmuseum.gov.ph/ is required for groups of 20-30 persons.

Albania is also recognized for its ancient history and the ruins of Butrint are among the country's most important archaeological sites. This historic city has layers of Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Venetian influence. Walking through Butrint feels like stepping through different periods of history.
