Cable Beach

There is access to the beach at the point, with the main access at the northern end where there is a car ramp. Numerous activities including surfing, swimming, camel riding and wind surfing are available along the beach.

Cable Beach is famous the world over for its iconic camel rides. Sitting high astride a camel while it walks rhythmically in time with the camel train gives you a different perspective of this magical location.

Cable beach club resort is a high quality, well maintained and managed spa resort in a stunning setting right on Cable Beach. We love the resort and the beautiful surrounds. Most of the restaurants are really excellent such as the Club restaurant and we also enjoyed the new Japanese restaurant.

They are indeed the same at Cable Beach and near Broome as elsewhere across the north: It is a very rare occurrence to see a crocodile at any beach in northern Australia. Beaches are just not a suitable crocodile habitat. Saltwater crocodiles prefer river and creek mouths, estuaries and mangrove swamps.
