Marina Mirage

The Gold Coast's iconic Marina Mirage has closed for a stunning $500 million transformation which will elevate it to a new levely of luxury in line with the world's great rivieras, with seven chef-led dining destinations, eight atelier boutiques and a 2,000- square-metre wellness and longevity precinct.

To be called Marina Mirage Gold Coast, a Luxury Collection resort, the property will also include restaurants, function and event spaces, a rooftop bar and pool, and day spa. The project will be the first foray into hotel and residential development for the Makris family, whose core business has been shopping centres.

Now, nearly four decades on, that legacy is being reimagined under the vision of Makris Group, which has owned Marina Mirage since 2013.
