Is the Healesville Sanctuary worth it?

Well worth the price of admission ($26.10), Healesville Sanctuary is a must if you want to wander among the wildlife and see all sorts of species, many which don't exist outside of Australia. Unbelievable on so many levels, here's a sampling of what I saw there: Kids petting dingoes. (Is that really a good idea?)

How long does it take to walk around the Healesville Sanctuary?

Spend 4 hours exploring the 70 acre bushland that Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary as to offer. Experience close-up encounters with some of Australia's unique and endearing wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, dingoes, birds of prey and platypus.

Can you hold koalas at Healesville Sanctuary?

Please note that due to Animal Welfare reasons, this is a 'no contact' experience. This is a brief experience that lasts a couple of minutes with each visitor booked, however please plan at least 15 minutes to meet your host and keeper, and hear the safety briefing.
