Can you swim in the Ord River?

A freshwater swimming 'beach' on the Upper Ord River. Located only a few kilometres to the west of Kununurra this sandy beach swimming spot is popular with locals. Especially beautiful just before and after sunset providing great photo opportunities with the Diversion Dam within close view.
