How old is Fort Fincastle?
Fort Fincastle, completed in 1793, with its brick walls was built by the Royal Governor of the islands, Lord Dunmore (also known as Viscount Fincastle). This uniquely shaped fort has a triangular projection and rounded side which sits atop Bennet Hill.
