Carlisle Bay

Carlisle Bay is a familiar favorite along Barbados' South-West Coast. It's usually calm and crystal clear water makes it a perfect place for a relaxing day at the beach. The bay is also home to a number of shipwrecks that are popular attractions for divers and snorkelers.

The bay is only about 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) away, which means you can reach it in under 10 minutes by taxi or even enjoy a scenic 20-minute walk along the coast. The walk from the cruise terminal to Carlisle Bay offers beautiful ocean views and the chance to explore some of Bridgetown's historic sites along the way.
