Baotu Spring

Jinan boasts up to 1,209 springs, of which 950 are famous springs, a rare number in the world. The intricate network of underground water veins makes the ground of Jinan like a giant glass web, interwoven between streets and nature. Therefore, it is honored to be called "the city of springs".

The Jinan dialect (simplified Chinese: 济南话; traditional Chinese: 濟南話; pinyin: Jǐnánhuà) is a Mandarin Chinese dialect spoken in Jinan in Shandong province, China. It is a variety of Jilu Mandarin.
