Definitely worth your time We learned SO much about the history of the Eastern Block and Czechia, in particular. Our teens were also captivated by the story of communism this museum presented. It's not a huge museum but there is a lot in there and we felt like we learned a ton.
Who founded the Museum of Communism in Prague?
History. The museum was founded by Glenn Spicker, an American businessman and former student of politics, who spent $28,000 buying 1000 artifacts. He also spent this money commissioning documentary filmmaker Jan Kaplan to design the museum.

Stalin's Monument (Czech: Stalinův pomník) was a 15.5 m (51 ft) granite statue honoring Joseph Stalin in Prague, Czechoslovakia. It was unveiled on 1 May 1955 after more than 51⁄2 years of work, and was the world's largest representation of Stalin. The sculpture was demolished in late 1962.
