Little Venice (Petite Venise)

The « little Venice » is the name given to the course of the Lauch in Colmar. This name probably came from the original line of the houses on both sides of the river, which serves the southeast of the city.

Little Venice, with its beautiful canals and waterways, can be found just to the north of Paddington. Positioned where the Grand Union and Regent's canals meet, this picturesque neighbourhood is home to quirky waterside cafes, cosy pubs and charming restaurants.

Kaysersberg is a charming village located in the vineyards not far from Colmar. It is known for its medieval architecture, its vineyard, its castle. The latter was built in the 13th century and proudly dominates the village. It also offers a breathtaking view of the village and the surrounding vineyards.
