Turtle Lake

Just near the outskirts of the capital, Turtle Lake is a great little recreational getaway for the weekends, ideal for swimming (depending on the weather), hiking, exploring the nature, the many cafes and bars found there, or simply sitting down at the shore and enjoying at the sunset.

Turtle Lake is a popular hot spot for fishing all year round, and in the summer months for swimming and water recreational activities.

Turtle Lake - or Kork Lake - is a lake in Georgia, in the city of Tbilisi. It is located southwest of the city center, on the northern slope of the Mtatsminda ridge, at an altitude of 686.7 m above sea level.

Turtle Lake has a surface area of approximately 2126 acres. It has 556 littoral acres and a maximum depth of 137 feet. It has 26 miles of shoreline, about two-thirds of which is privately owned. The other third of its shoreline is unadulterated federal, state, and county land.
