Faneromeni Beach

Panagia beach is one of the most picturesque beaches on Antiparos island, located just 1 km south of Antiparos town (Chora).

The church Panagia Faneromeni dates back to the 16th century and represents one of the most important Orthodox sanctuaries in this part of Greece. Its name, which means “Appeared Virgin Mary,” is connected to the legend of the miraculous discovery of the icon of the Virgin Mary.

Transportation in Antiparos Getting around Antiparos is easy, as the island is quite small and there are public buses connecting most major attractions, beaches and villages on the island. If you want to be more flexible during your stay in Antiparos, you can bring your own vehicle or rent it on the island.
