Kanoni

The location of Kanoni with the church of Panagia Vlacherna below and the Mouse Island (Pontikonisi) are the most famous and photographed spots of Corfu. Kanoni is actually a district of Corfu Town, just a couple of kilometers from the city center. It took its name from an old cannon that stands on top of the hill.

On Foot: For those who enjoy walking, the route from Corfu Town to the top of Kanoni takes roughly 50 to 60 minutes. It's a pleasant walk along Garitsa Bay with scenic views along the way.

A mountainous village, Pelekas is one of the most picturesque villages on the island. Located 13km from Corfu Town, Pelekas lies on a hill at an altitude of 270 metres. With a panoramic view of its natural surroundings, the village is a must-visit for those looking for a sense of serenity during their holidays.
