Amalfi Cathedral (Cattedrale di Sant'Andrea)

From July to September it is open daily from 9:00 am to 7:45 pm; November through February, on the other hand, it opens daily from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The entrance fee for Amalfi Cathedral is 3 euros. Access is free during religious services.

In the crypt of the Amalfi Cathedral dedicated to St. Andrew in the urn where the relics of his skull are kept, the miracle of manna is renewed several times a year, a gelatinous liquid envelops and often fills the glass connected to the relics.

The Cathedral (Duomo di Sant'Andrea) dedicated to the patron Saint Andrea, not so far from the port, stands in the heart of the town of Amalfi, in the homonymous square “Piazza Duomo”. It has an immense staircase of 62 steps and an amazing facade that will surprise the tourists with its beauty.

St Andrew's Cathedral in Amalfi is the brightest treasure in this little town on the Amalfi coast, and its imposing structure dominates the main square. The large monumental complex includes a crypt, two communicating. The oldest part of the building is the Basilica of the Crucifix, which dates back to the 9th century.
