Via dell’Abbondanza

Via dell'Abbondanza, literally meaning the "street of abundance", is the principal east-west street in the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. It measures approximately 900 meters in length and functions as one of the main commercial, civic, and residential streets of the city.

There are toilets and restrooms available at different locations on-site. Pompeii is wheelchair accessible. Several pathways have been created for those with reduced mobility to facilitate ease of movement.

Pompeii frescoes are colorful wall paintings created using a plaster technique unique to ancient Rome. You can find some of the best-preserved examples in the Villa of the Mysteries, House of the Faun, and House of the Vettii.
