Rastafari Indigenous Village

The rastafari village was created ten (10) years ago as a cultural sharing center, healing ground, and sanctuary, where the villagers coexist in a living, working, preservation village. the village promotes, protects and preserve traditional rastafari practices.

Rasta women are regarded as queens or empresses by their partners, while the males are called kingsmen. Rastafari religion is patriarchal, and women should submit to male leadership.

Early Rastafari came largely from poor, marginal communities in Jamaica, attracted by the movement's message of hope, self-pride and redemption.
