King Abdullah Mosque

Use the visitor entrance and purchase a ticket before entering the exquisite, blue-domed King Abdullah I Mosque in Amman. Remove your shoes and leave them at the doorway. Remember that this is a place of worship; there are separate areas for men and women.

It is known that some of them died or were buried there, including the following: Moses – on Mount Nebo, near Madaba; Aaron – on Mount Aaron, near Petra; Shuaib – in Wadi Shuaib, near Al-Salt; Job – in Al-Salt; John the Baptist – in Machaerus, near Madaba.
