Sokuluk Gorge

Issyk Kul is the second largest mountain lake in the world, and the eleventh deepest. It's quite a sight, beneath the towering Tian Shan Mountains, and no Kyrgyzstan itinerary is complete without visiting its shores. Honestly, there's no reason to not visit Issyk Kul when you're in Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyzstan is a great place to visit, where you can see a lot of natural views, and there is an Eagle show in the course that is more interesting than you can imagine, and to learn more about the hunting culture of the Kyrgyz Shepherds.

By Private Car From Bishkek, head south along the Alamedin Road. After about 20–30 kilometres, you'll reach the entrance to the gorge near the village of Koy-Tash. From there, the road continues deeper into the valley, though it becomes narrower and less paved the further you go.
