Casino Square (Place du Casino)

Casino Square or Place du Casino is a pleasant park area surrounded by Belle Époque architecture, stylish hotels and glamorous casinos. The square occupies a prime setting in the center of Monaco. It's a short stroll away from the sea and located adjacent to the Grand Prix course.

Casino de Monte Carlo. Peeping inside Monte Carlo's legendary marble-and-gold casino is a Monaco essential. The building, open to visitors every morning, including the exclusive salons privés, is Europe's most lavish example of belle époque architecture.

To get in, you must be 18 or older, show your passport to identify yourself (drivers licenses are not accepted) and pay an entry fee of 18 euros (about $19). After that, it is up to you as to how much money you want to lose – well, spend – at game tables.
