Is Mitai Maori Village worth it?
Worth the visit! The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic! They showed us how they prepared the hangi and there was plenty of food in the buffet for all. Everything about the experience was excellent, and worth the visit! Be sure to take the walk at the end to the sacred stream.
Which is better, Mitai Maori Village or Te Pa Tu?
Te Pā Tū is another Maori village in Rotorua that offers a very similar cultural experience and while it's not “better” there is one major difference that makes it stand out. While the buffet at Mitai Maori Village was delicious, I can't deny that the 3-course dinner at Te Pā Tū was better.
