Traditional Omani handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, spices, fragrances, antiques, tourist trinkets, and so much more can all be found in Mutrah Souq. It's a fun spot to wander around and find some one-of-a-kind souvenirs.

Mutrah Souq is best for products that reflect long-standing trade and everyday use: frankincense from Dhofar, whole spices, traditional textiles, and silver items. These are not produced to be 'souvenirs' — they are goods still used in Omani homes and ceremonies, which gives them cultural meaning beyond decoration.

Muttrah Souk Considered one of the oldest marketplaces in the world, the souk of Muttrah is probably the most popular souk in Oman. It is located in the Muttrah corniche on a busy street with two main entrances.
