Definitely worth a visit. It is a basilica entirely carved into the rock, built by Franco in memory of the fallen of the Spanish Civil War. We were struck by the enormous dimensions of this work which, if it had not been deliberately consecrated only in part, would be a larger basilica even than St Peter's.
