Prades Mountains

Prades is sought-after due to its picturesque setting at the foothills of the Canigou mountain, which is the highest peak in the eastern Pyrenees. The town has a charming medieval centre with narrow streets, traditional Catalan architecture and a lively atmosphere.

It's called the Picos de Europa (or 'Peaks of Europe'), and it sits around 20km from the coast, forming part of the Cantabrian Mountains. The range straddles Asturias, Cantabria, and Castile and León, with the highest peak, Torre de Cerredo, towering to 2,650 metres high.
