Is Longshan Temple worth it?

After visiting many temples in the Far East I could tell this one is really nice and worth visiting. Very easy to reach by the MRT. I'd recommend to visit during the evening time during the prays. You can book a free tour with TourMeAway - we didn't try that but I heard that they are good.

Who is the god in the Longshan Temple?

Longshan Temple is primarily a Buddhist place of worship dedicated to Guanyin, the Chinese Buddha of Compassion. In the Chinese Buddhist tradition Guanyin manifests as a female deity but in Tibetan Buddhism, the Buddha of Compassion is none other than the Dalai Lama himself.
