The ANcient City Walls and the Ruins of Wat Pa Sak are worth a visit. I visited the Ancient Walls and the ruined temple site in late afternoon. It was peaceful as there was no one around. They both evoke the history of Chiang Saen, which was a much more important town on the Mekong than it is today.
