Book for both nights — 16 October (to be ready for the first day) and 17 October (to cover the second day). Since the festival runs across two full days and finishes late each night, staying overnight both nights means you avoid walking back late on the first evening and can rest before the second day. If you’re only attending one day, you still need to stay the night before that day to be at the venue in time.
How do you get to RAC Arena?
All listed hotels are within a 12-minute walk of RAC Arena, with the closest — Four Points by Sheraton Perth and Quest West End — just 3 minutes away. There is no train station within the precinct, and buses serve the area but services thin out late — check the last departure before you go. Ride-share drop-off is available directly at the arena entrance, which may be preferable after a late finish.
Where do you eat and drink after the festival?
The area around RAC Arena has cafés, bars and casual restaurants open late, especially along William Street and Roe Street. Many venues cater to event crowds and remain open well past midnight, offering food and drinks after the festival ends.

RAC Arena sits in the Perth CBD’s northern fringe, adjacent to the Northbridge cultural precinct. The surrounding streets are pedestrian-friendly, lined with mid-rise hotels, small eateries, and public plazas. It’s a compact, urban area — not residential or suburban — with consistent foot traffic and lighting, even late at night. Most nearby hotels are purpose-built for short stays and event attendees.
