by Lion King Adventures
This private safari lasts six days and covers the main attractions of Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit. Travelers will visit Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara Crater, and Serengeti National Park, staying in mid-range lodges throughout the trip. The tour includes game drives in diverse landscapes where monkeys can be seen in forests, lions may be spotted resting in trees, and elephants roam among acacia trees. The Manyara Crater offers a chance to observe a wide variety of animals within a collapsed volcanic area. The Serengeti National Park is also a key destination on this itinerary, known for its extensive wildlife populations and open plains. Included in the safari are a professional guide, bottled water, national park fees, all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), tea and coffee, five nights of accommodation, and private vehicle transport. The full duration of the tour is about six days, starting and ending near Arusha.
Arrival in Arusha
A Lion King representative will meet the traveler at the airport and transfer them to their accommodation in Arusha. Depending on the arrival time, there will be opportunity to rest and prepare for the upcoming safari. Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, the safari guide will collect the traveler from their accommodation and drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey lasting about two and a half hours along well-maintained paved roads. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, the only water source available to wildlife during the dry season. Elephant groups are commonly seen near the river, alongside giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest. Predators such as lions and leopards often track these animals. Tarangire hosts more breeding bird species than anywhere else worldwide, and ancient baobab trees, some believed to be over a thousand years old, are present. Lunch will be served at a picnic site inside the park before continuing to accommodation in Karatu.
