Overview

This private day tour lasts about eight hours and includes air-conditioned transportation by car or minivan with a driver who speaks minimal English. The tour departs from Sorrento with hotel pickup and drop-off included. You will visit Positano first, where you can enjoy the town’s pastel-colored houses around the church of Santa Maria Assunta, browse shops along the narrow streets, or relax on its famous beaches. You decide how long to stay here during your day trip. Next, you will drive through Praiano, a small village known for its late sunsets, stopping briefly. Continuing along the coast, you will see Conca dei Marini and Furore. Conca dei Marini is known for the Emerald Grotto and as the birthplace of the sfogliatella pastry, while Furore features a decorated fjord and painted houses. The tour continues to Amalfi, where the white Mediterranean-style houses and narrow lanes characterize the town. You can visit the cathedral dedicated to St. Andrew, which overlooks the main square. Finally, you will arrive at Ravello, situated higher above the coast with views of the coastline and villas. The driver will drop you off as close as possible to the village center, which is pedestrian-only. You can spend as much time as you like in Ravello or choose to skip it and spend more time in the other towns, all within the eight-hour tour. Parking for the first hour is included. Optional gratuities, food and drinks, and any city access taxes for vehicles with nine or more seats are not included and must be paid on site.
