Overview

This full-day tour from Barcelona visits three countries: Spain, France, and Andorra. The day begins at 7 am with a meeting near Palau de la Musica, where the guide explains the itinerary. The group departs Barcelona and travels through Cadi-Moixeró National Park to the medieval village of Bagà. There, participants can visit a local bakery or cafe, enjoy fresh pastries or sandwiches, and take a short guided walking tour before free time to explore the village independently. Next, the tour continues toward the French border and arrives at Ax-Les-Thermes, an ancient spa town. Visitors can explore natural fountains, soak their feet in the healing waters (a towel is recommended), and browse artisan shops selling local cheeses, cured meats, and souvenirs. Lunch is available at one of the town’s restaurants but is not included in the tour price. After lunch, the journey proceeds through the Pyrenees, crossing the Pas de la Casa mountain pass, known for its high altitude and panoramic views. The tour then reaches Andorra la Vella, the capital of Andorra, where there is time for duty-free shopping or walking through the old streets. Around mid-afternoon, the group boards the bus to return to Barcelona by a scenic route passing gorges, farmland, lakes, and rivers. There is a stop to stretch and refresh before the final leg, which passes Montserrat mountain. The tour ends at Arc de Triomf between 7 and 7:30 pm. Included are air-conditioned transport, an English-speaking local guide, and an Andorran passport stamp. Lunch, gratuities, and other food or drinks are not included. The tour lasts about twelve and a half hours and requires a valid passport and any necessary visas. The guide operates in English only.
