Overview

This full-day Auckland highlight city tour lasts about seven to eight hours and includes hotel pickup and drop-off. The tour begins with a visit to Mt. Eden, where a ten-minute walk from the car park leads to the summit for panoramic views of the city. Next, the tour continues to One Tree Hill in Cornwall Park, allowing about one hour to explore the park; visitors may choose to climb to the hilltop independently. Afterward, the group visits Auckland Domain for approximately thirty minutes, including a stop at the Winter Garden to see a variety of New Zealand plants. The tour then stops at MJ Savage Memorial Park for thirty minutes to view the city and learn about New Zealand’s political history. Achilles Point is the next stop, with a brief ten-minute visit to see views of Waiheke and Rangitoto Islands. At Westhaven Marina, the tour spends twenty minutes viewing the Harbor Bridge and the city while learning about the bridge’s history. The final stop is Devonport, the former downtown of the North Shore District, where the tour lasts about forty minutes. Transport is provided by a private vehicle with a driver/guide who offers live commentary throughout the day.
