Overview

This small group electric bike tour covers key sights around Auckland in about three and a half hours. Riders use a high-quality electric bike and a cycle-specific headset that provides commentary during the ride. The tour includes a local guide and a helmet, with a maximum of six participants per group. The route includes a cycle up to Mount Eden, the highest natural point in Auckland, where riders spend about 15 minutes taking in views and orienting themselves. Next, the group cycles to Auckland Museum for a 10-minute stop to learn about its connection to the First World War. Following this, riders visit Viaduct Harbour for 10 minutes to explore the waterfront and its sailing history. Silo Park is the next stop, where participants spend 10 minutes viewing Westhaven, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest marina. The tour continues with a 5-minute stop at Auckland Harbour Bridge to hear about its history and plans. Then the group visits Wynyard Quarter for 10 minutes, the site of the 2021 America’s Cup. The ride also includes time cycling through Auckland Central along safe cycleways such as the Pink Path, and along Tamaki Drive’s waterfront cycleways. The company provides a lightweight rain jacket if needed, souvenir photos, and a small bag on the bike to carry personal items. Food, drinks, hotel transfers, and gratuities are not included.
